Social Security Disability

I really enjoy repesenting people in Social Security Disability and SSI claims.   A good attorney can make the difference between winning and losing a disability claim.  Fees in disability cases are limited to 25% of a person’s back due benefits, with a cap on fees of $6,000.00, and you do not have to pay any attorney fee unless you win and receive benefits.     If you lose before the Social Security Adminstration and win in federal court, the federal government will pay your fee under the Equal Access to Justice Act.

Over the last 29 years, I have helped many people qualify for the social security disability benefits and SSI they deserve.  Their conditions have included fibromyalgia, arthritis, heart disease, heart transplants, pain syndrome, RDS, vision problems, depression and other mental health conditions, lung disease, thyroid problems, and gastrointestinal conditions.

The Disability Claim process is pretty convoluted, if you ask me.  First you make a claim for disability.  If you get turned down, you request a reconsideration, and the people who looked at your claim the first time will probably turn you down the second time.  Then and only then do you get to present your claim to an administrative law judge.   This can take a matter of months.  During that time we can help you prepare for your hearing by gathering the records which support your claim.     If the Administrative Law Judge rules against you, you can appeal to the Appeals Council, and if it rules against you, you can appeal to federal court.  I have won Social Security Disabiilty claims at every level from reconsideration to federal court.

If you have been turned down by the Social Security Administration, please call me at 501-604-4525.  Let me show you what we can do for you.
